Participants: 11 people (7 female, 4 male)
Objective: Design client profiling system tailored for conditions and possibilities of public employment service and private labour exchange offices. Design and develop the Individual Employment Pathway Planning (IEPP) – a client based employment service approach.
Participation: The training workshop was organized involving representatives from Private labor exchange office in Zavkhan aimag; Youth Labor Exchange Office in UB; Mongolian Career Counselors’ Association; and Training Centers in Bayangol and Khan-Uul districts, UB.
Outcomes: Local training and private labour exchange organizations were capacitated with skills and knowledge to design and develop young job seekers’ profiling and individual employment pathway planning. The training workshop was organized using a participatory approach, therefore, participants made their own contributions to the workshop topics that include: understanding competence, and competence measurements; profiling models in Mongolian career counseling and guidance practice; developing the client’s profile; international practices on profiling of unemployed; development of an approach on client profiling for the young job-seekers; and development of new approach on IEPP for young job-seekers. At the end of training workshop, the participants developed an approach on profiling of young job seeker and an approach on Individual Employment Pathway Planning for conditions and possibilities of public employment services and private labour exchange offices.
